Collaboration between Pay.UK and the Bank of England on ISO 20022 payment messages
Pay.UK is a standards-setting body, responsible for retail payment standards within the UK and standards to support the effective functioning of the end-to-end retail payments ecosystem. The Pay.UK Standards Authority continues to receive strong support and encouragement from industry for its partnership with the Bank of England as CHAPS/RTGS Operator. Whilst we continue to have regular joint industry engagement (through the Standards Advisory Panel and periodic webinars), since 2019, we have re-affirmed this world leading collaboration between the high-value and retail payment systems on an annual basis, through a joint, public statement.
The updated joint public statement between Pay.UK and the Bank of England has been published and highlights the areas of notable development and progression both organisations have made together in the last year, and commitment to continued collaboration in 2021 and in the future.
