David Morris appointed Chief Operating Officer

We are pleased to announce that we have appointed our Chief Operating Officer, David Morris, to the role of Chief Operating Officer.

With a wealth of experience in digital delivery and transformational change, David will consolidate our technology and operations functions, and lead a multitude of key disciplines including payments operations, onboarding and assurance, technology, and rules and standards, to further drive operational excellence.

The strategic alignment of operations and technology under the newly-created role will foster greater collaboration and efficiency. This will not only ensure our platforms remain robust and resilient, but will further support our work to deliver key industry-wide initiatives and products over the coming months, particularly those associated with fraud detection and prevention.

On his appointment, David Morris said: “I am delighted to be taking on this new role, which will underpin Pay.UK’s continued focus on safety and security of our payments systems, and also ensure we can be the smartest way to pay now, and in the future.”
